Five years ago I wrote a piece "Journey To Your Dreams" as I celebrated the first year of FARRINHEIT 411 with my team. At that point, I had just returned to Atlanta from LA for the first time and I was so full of life, full of optimism, my dreams were so bold and vivid. I admire that younger self because without that dare and determination I wouldn't be here writing this post on year number six. Bare with me as I share how I got here.
Analyzing one that resembles living a purpose-filled life, Ermias Asghedom known to the world as Nipsey Hussle is a testament of that. Today he's known to have shifted the world as a servant, an educator and change agent, but the true shift of Nipsey Hussle's life impact did not happen overnight. Over the years he's displayed how majestic life can become when you unlock your purest self, tap into your potential, and share it with the world for the betterment of it. Hussle created 'The Marathon;' a figurative motivational race that represents more than just a brand that coincides with his career as an artist, but a life module filled with wisdom, hope and realistic gems to achieving your best self. The Marathon spearheaded by Nipsey Hussle invited us all and was advertently crafted for a body of people to connect to a movement that felt authentic.
How old were you between the golden years of the new millennium in 2000 and 2005? What about 2007? If you were a teenager or young adult by the end of the first decade of the 2000's, you were both young enough and old enough to witness one of the biggest evolutions of human life. It was predicted the world would either end or we'd be driving flying cars in the 2000's. Although that didn't happen, the "2000's" were filled with so much more. We witnessed the shift in fashion, music, culture, technology, television programming, movies, hairstyles, politics, climate change, dances and from no social media to sneaking a Myspace. The joys of being young and carefree!
